The great thing about Yao Noi (Long Small) Island is that we can tailor the route to the groups biking abilities. Easy tours on road for occassional cyclists, or like today when we have strong riders alot more off road and dirt trails.

Seiya from Japan, Andrew from USA, Sarah from Australia and James, Richard and Wayne from the UK all joined Amazing Bike Tours Thailand on Saturday the 4th of September 2010 for our Thai Muang Turtles and Waterfalls bike tour. This popular Thailand mountain biking tour takes place in the provence of Phang Nga. After collecting our guests from their Phuket hotels we head to the north of the Island and the start of the ride. After crossing Sarasin Bridge, which connects Phuket to Phang Nga we leave the highway and bike along small dirt trails and small roads with little traffic with ocean views of the Andaman coast.

On Tuesday 2nd of September 2010 Hans from USA and Cecilia from New Zealand joined Amazing Bike Tours Thailand for our half day bike tour in Phuket Island. This ride combines biking both on and off road. The off road sections are easy dirt trails leading through rubber tree plantations. During this Phuket mountain bike tour we also visit a Gibbon Rehabilitation Center, then it is back on the bikes to ride to Ao Por, a scenic bay in the north east of the Island.
A day of two seasons for sure, hot sunny, followed by a tropical downpour back to hot and sunny. All good fun biking, regardless of the weather.

We crossed Sarasin bridge and joined the mainland, leaving the highway behind and biking along drt trails and quiet back country roads. This is ride is approx 50km and includes a visit to a Sea Turtle Sanctuary and concludes at Ton Prai waterfall, great place to cool down after the days biking.
