Bike Tours in Thailand

on the 27th February 2009 Matt and Trisha from the USA, on their honeymoon in Thailand joined Amazing Bike Tours for a 1 day of Mountain Biking from Phuket to Koh Yao Noi. Both are regular bikers back home, Trish has previously completed three Triathalons and it showed as she powered up the hills.

Most people think our guides are joking when they say in the briefing there is very little raffic on Koh Yao Noi, but watch out for Chickens, Goats and Water Buffaloes in the road!

Southern Thailand Mountain Bike Tours

on 15th February 2009 Pete and Joy from England joined Amazing Bike Tours for a 1 day Cycling Adventure from Phuket to Koh Yao Noi. When i asked them where they were from they said England, ok where in England, the reply “South West England”, where abouts….”Taunton” ….wow….my home town. Not sure who was more suprised, myself at having some people joining my Bike Tour in Thailand, who were from my home town, or Pete and Joy who didnt expect to fly half way around the world and sign up with a Bike tour in Thailand, with a Bike guide from the very town they live in. Small world!

Bike Tours from Phuket

on 13th February 2009 Carmin, Des, Mike and Rita from Ireland, Stefan from Germany, Sonia and Keven from Canada joined Amazing Bike Tours for 1 day of Cyling from Phuket to Koh Yao Noi.

The riding ability of our bikers today was quite varied, so we took some of the easier off road trails, still fun for the experienced riders and just slightly on the challenging side for the less experienced bikers.

Thailand Bike Tours with Amazing Bike Tours.

on 8th Feb 2009 Lauren, George and their son Simon from Australia as well as Bernd from Germany joined Amazing Bike Tours for a 1 day Mountain Bike Tour from Phuket to Koh Yao Noi.

On 3rd Feb 2009 Ken and Ken Jr from Canada joined Amazing Bike Tours for 1 day of Biking Adventure from Phuket to Koh Yao Noi.

Kamala Mountain Bike Competition

Feb 1st 2009 was the first MTB competition held in Kamala, Phuket.

The route was 7.5km and there were two main categorys; A-open which was 4 laps of the 7.5km route and B-open which was 3 laps of the same route.

7.5km, 60% on road and 40% off road.

Of the various groups and categories the Childrens male race had the greatest number of participants. The Childrens female race had just three girls, great for the 3 girls as they were all gauranteed a podium position as long as they completed the race.
