On Saturday 30th January 2010 Amazing Bike Tours were joined by the Taylor family from Australia for our half day bike tour in Phuket island. On and off road biking, a visit to Phuket’s Gibbon Rehabilitation Center, a jungle trek to Bang Pae waterfall and back on the bikes to ride to Ao Por, a scenic bay in the north east of Phuket Island.

Bike tour of Yao Noi Island on 29th January 2010.

On Friday 29th January 2010 Amazing Bike Tours Thailand were joined by guests from Italy and Switzerland for our 1 day bike tour from Phuket to Yao Noi Island. After collecting our guests from their Phuket hotels we headed to Bang Rong Pier to take the local ferry to Yao Noi Island, the destination for the days Biking.

Koh Yao Noi is a great location for biking due to little traffic, great scenery, friendly locals and the chance to experience the real Thailand away from the tourist development.

On Thursday 28th January 2010 Amazing Bike Tours were joined by riders from Sweden, Finland and Australia for our half day bike tour in Phuket Island. On and off road biking, through rubber and pineapple plantations, a visit to Phuket’s Gibbon Rehabilitation center, a jungle trek to Bang Pae waterfall and back on the bikes to ride to Ao Por, a scenic bay in the north east of Phuket Island.

After visiting the Gibbon Rehabilitation Center it is back on the bikes for the ride to Ao Por.

The half day ride is fairly easy, suitable for all levels or riders, there is one hill to pass and if you need to walk up it you wont be the first and you wont be the last to do so. But the view is worth the climb.

On Tuesday 26th January Amazing Bike Tours Thailand were joined by a couple of riders for our 1 day bike tour to Yao Noi Island. Great weather, great people, great Biking.

On Monday 25th January 2010 Amazing Bike Tours Thailand were joined by riders from Canada, Australia and Britain for our half day bike tour in Phuket. This ride includes on and off road riding, biking through rubber and palm oil tree plantations. A visit to Phuket’s Gibbon Rehabilitation Center, a short trek to Bang Pae waterfall and then back on the bikes to ride to a scenic bay.

Bike Tour to Yao Noi Island on 24th January 2010.

Sunday 24th January 2010, another beautiful day in Thailand, another great day for Biking. Today we were joined by guests from Sweden, Canada and Australia for our 1 day bike tour of Yao Noi Island. After collecting our guests from their Phuket hotels we headed to the north east of the Island to take the local ferry to Yao Noi. Once on the Island we biked past rice paddies, fishing villages, ocean views of Phang Nga Bay. This tours includes lunch at a local resturant with some of the best food in Thailand….well thats what we think, come and try for yourself. After 30km of Biking we made it back to the pier for the 4pm boat back to Phuket.

Thai Muang Turtles and Waterfalls on 20th January 2010.

On Wednesday 20th Januasry 2010 Amazing Bike Tours Thailand were joined by riders from New Zealand, Holland, Australia and Switzerland for our 1 day bike tour along Thailand’s Andaman coastline. Starting the ride at the northern end of Phuket Island, crossing Sarasin Bridge and then biking along quiet back country roads in Phang Nga with ocean views. During this tour we also visit a Sea Turtle Sanctuary and the 45km ride ends at the scenic Ton Prai waterfall.

The usually deserted Ton Prai waterfall which is not on the main tourist route was busy today with school kids on a school trip, once in while we have to share the waterfall!

Back in early December 2009 Nick from Russia joined Amazing Bike Tours for our “Phuket Mountain Challenge” this is a tough ride with alot of off road trails, alot of hills, both up and down.

Thai Muang Turtles and Waterfalls Bike Tour on 16th January 2010.

On Saturday 16th January 2010 Amazing Bike Tours Thailand were joined by guests from Australia and Russia for our 1 day bike tour along the Andaman Coastline in between Phuket and Khao Lak. During this tour we vist the small town of Thai Muang away from the tourist crowds. At Thai Muang we visit the Sea Turtle sanctuary, the 45km biking concludes at Ton Prai waterfall, perfect place to cool down after this Thailand Bike Tour.

Bike Tour of Yao Noi Island on 15th January 2010.

On Friday 15th January 2010 Amazing Bike Tours Thailand were joined by some riders from Australia for our 1 day bike tour from Phuket to Yao Noi Island. After collecting our guests from their Phuket hotels we headed to Bang Rong pier to take the local ferry to the island, the destinations for todays Biking.

The boat journey from Phuket to Koh Yao Noi is very scenic, passing many Islands on the way.

Yao Noi is a great destination for biking, hardly any traffic on the Island, plus good chance to see how the local people live.

In Thailand many people keep birds and hold singing contests between the birds.

We stop at a pier and appreciate the views of Phang Nga Bay.
