Filed under: Photos of Amazing Bike Tour guests. — admin @ 8:09 am

Tuesday 27th April 2010 Amazing Bike Tours were joined by Yen Ling and Juliana from Singapore and Louise and Steve from the Uk for our 1 day bike tour of Yao Noi Island. After collecting our guests from their Phuket hotels we headed to the north east of the Island to join the local ferry to Koh Yao Noi. Once we arrived on the Islands after a quick safety briefing and bike orientation we started our ride, the tour of Yao Noi Island is approx 30km at a nice easy pace. We alter the route depending on the riding ability and experience of the guests on the day, challenging off road routes are available, more easy rides for casual cyclists are also possible. Making Yao Noi Island a great location for biking.

On Wednesday 14th April 2010 Amazing Bike Tours Thailand were joined by riders from Australia, U.K, Belguim and the U.S.A for our 1 day bike tour along the Andaman coastline. We start the ride in the north of Phuket Island and then cross Sarasin Bridge to the mainland and Phang Nga provence. After a few km we leave the main highway and join some nice small country roads with very little traffic, just good views of the Andaman coastline and local villages. During this bike tour we visit the Sea Turtle Sanctuary in Thai Muang and after 50km of biking we come to Ton Prai waterfall. At this time of year, the end of the dry season not too much water, but still nice place to cool down after the days Biking.

The Monk on a Bike……

Filed under: News from Amazing Bike Tours team. — admin @ 7:51 am

Well not a real Thai Buddhist Monk in saffron robes, but Jamie Monk from the UK, Jamie has been living in Phuket for around 10 years, and some years back he stared writing a Blog about Phuket and the surrounding areas, his aim was to dispel the idea that Phuket is just bars, girls and girlie bars and trashy tourism. He wanted to highlight the interesting cultural side of Phuket, the local markets, local, cheap and tasty places to eat, and well just about anywhere off the main tourist path that is worth a visit. Amazing Bike Tours are a big fan of his Phuket Blog.

We have been trying to drag Jamie out of the dive shop where he works for a long time, and on the 9th April 2010 Jamie finally joined Amazing Bike Tours for a 1 day bike tours to Koh Yao Noi.

If you want to read about Jamies view of Koh Yao Noi and his Amazing Bike Tour experience use the link below.

He also took some really nice images of the day which are on his blog post.

Jamie Monks Blog post about Koh Yao Noi bike trip.

We look forward to Biking with Jamie again, but it will probably be many years before we can get him out of his office for another days Biking.
