Thai Muang Turtles and Waterfalls bike tour on 29th March 2011

Filed under: Photos of Amazing Bike Tour guests. — admin @ 9:35 am

On Tuesday 29th March 2011 Amazing Bike Tours Thailand were joined Georgiana from Greece, Polydoros from Cyprus, Aleesander and Liza from Russia, Lauren and William from the US of A. This past week has seen unseasonally wet weather, March should be dry, sunny and calm seas. But a storm has hit much of southern Thailand and it has been quite wet these past days. We headed out for a ride despite the wet weather, after all it is still warm in Thailand. More fun than stuck in the hotel room all day. Armed with our rain ponchos we cycled along the Andaman coastline, visited a sea turtle center and Ton Prai waterfall, which was extremly powerful after the tropical storm.

Good news….the rain has finally stopped and the sun is shining again.

Phuket Countryside bike tour on 28th March 2011

Filed under: Photos of Amazing Bike Tour guests. — admin @ 12:40 pm

Helen and Sigurd from Norway and Annmarie from the UK joined Amazing Bike Tours Thailand on Monday 28th March 2011 for our half day bike tour in Phuket Island. Biking on and off road, through rubber, palm oil and pineapple plantations. A visit to the Gibbon Project before geting back on the bikes for the ride to the scenic Ao Por.

Usually in March it is glorious high season weather, blue skies, calm seas and tropical temperatures (hot) but these past few days a storm front has been sitting over southern Thailand. Rain or shine we always head out for a ride with some colourful ponchos for our guests in case of some rain.
